Workout of the Day: Day 1 of Jamie Eason’s LiveFit + Day 1 of Couch to 5K

Chest & Triceps: It was killer. I couldn’t even finish the entire thing. I did the Tricep Pushdowns with such terrible form and only did 2/3 sets. Boo! My arms were so sore afterwards that when I sat on the mat to stretch, my arm gave out and I just fell on my butt! >_<

Note to self: Work on the push-ups. I had to do them on my knees today. My elbows were sticking out and sometimes I couldn’t even go that far down, especially with the Narrow Push-ups… those were extra hard!

Run: 5 min walk + 2 min jog + 5 min walk. I’ve been trying to ease into running since the school year started but after not doing anything for the entire month of break, I figured I’d start off kinda easy.

  • Push-Up:

  • Dumbbell Flyes:
    • 5 lb x 12 reps (+5 pts)

    • On stability ball. These were fun :D
  • Standing Dumbbell Triceps Extension:
    • 5 lb x 12 reps (+5 pts)
    • 5 lb x 12 reps (+5 pts)

  • Triceps Pushdown:
    • 5 lb x 12 reps (+5 pts)

    • Man my arms were so sore by the time I got here I couldn’t do the entire 3 sets and what I did do, I did with terrible form :\ I couldn’t even extend my arm down all the way!
  • Walking:

  • Running:
    • 0:02:00 (+5 pts)
